Rejected votes

Steve Lorek muffle@immortalcurse.cmo - No ballot paper received
Mark Adamson fingalscave@hotmail.cmo - No ballot paper received

- ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Votetakers Comments:

All in all a fairly smooth running vote. The two rejected votes were
sent to the voting address with no ballot paper. A copy of the CFV was
sent to them with their formal acknowledgment of an invalid vote. No
valid vote or any kind of response was received from either of these
voters by the close of voting.

RATIONALE: uk.media.tv.angel
- ----------------------------

With the possibility of Angel being shown on terrestrial television in
the UK, the spoiler rules which are operating within
uk.media.tv.buffy-v-slayer (the usual forum for Angel discussion) are
becoming at best blurred and at worst draconian. A sister group to UMTB
would allow those who follow both programmes more freedom to post
without confusion as to what constitutes a "spoiler" and what does not.
The proposed group is also intended to have less restrictive off-topic
subjects than in UMTB, allowing posters more freedom of discussion.

CHARTER: uk.media.tv.angel
- --------------------------

uk.media.tv.angel is for the discussion of the television show 'Angel'
and related matters, including merchandise, conventions, and the cast's
other work. Discussion of Angel episodes not yet screened on
non-subscription television is permitted but posting of spoiler material
without an appropriate warning in the subject header is not permitted.

ADVERTISING

Advertising is forbidden, with these exceptions:

Suppliers of goods and services relevant to 'Angel' in the UK may post,
not more than once every month, an invitation of four lines or fewer, to
visit their web site or request details. The subject line must begin
"ADVERT: "

BINARIES & FORMATTING

Encoded binaries (e.g. pictures, compressed files, etc.), are
*forbidden*, except for cryptographic signatures (e.g. PGP). Binaries
belong on a web or FTP site, whose URL may be posted.

Posts must be in plain text. To see how to make your newsreader comply
