RESULTS:

RAW PREFERENCES GRID

            Yes SQ ROD
       Yes [n/a] [ 24] [ 22]
Status Quo [ 6] [n/a] [ 4]
       ROD [ 9] [ 17] [n/a]

In this grid, each number represents the number of votes which were
cast that preferred the option named in the number's row to the option
appropriate to the number's column. For instance, 24 votes preferred
creation of the group to Status Quo while 17 votes preferred reopening
the discussion to Status Quo.

OPPOSITE COMPARISONS GRID

     Yes ROD
Yes [n/a] [ 13]
ROD [-13] [n/a]

In this grid, each number represents the number of votes which were
cast that preferred the option named in the number's row to the option
appropriate to the number's column less the number of votes which were
cast that preferred the option named in the number's column to the
option appropriate to the number's row. For instance, 13 more people
preferred creating the group to Re-Opening the Discussion than
preferred Re-Opening the Discussion to creating the group.

As shown by all the numbers in its row in the lower grid being positive,
creating the group was preferred to all other options and hence wins the
ballot.

Votetakers Comments:

A simple vote with little to distinguish it apart from the fact that I
killed my machine moving house during the count. I eventually had to ask
if
someone else in UKVoting could count them while I rebuilt my machine at
home, I thank Barry Salter for this great favour. I also apologise to the
proponent who has been very restrained in waiting so long for the
results.

- -----------------------------------------------------------------------

RATIONALE
- ---------

Postings to existing groups covering crossdressing issues are
dominated by US based contributors covering the US scene. The
purpose of this newsgroup, therefore, is to provide a supportive,
informative and friendly environment dedicated to and relevant to
UK based crossdressers.

- ------------------------------------------------------------------------

SUMMARY OF DISCUSSION
- ---------------------

This summary of discussion has been supplied by the votetaker and
agreed to by the proponent.

There have been a number of questions raised during the RFD's
the proponent feels that they have been answered sufficiently and
any that the proponent hasn't answered are because of the pedantry
nature of the people asking for further clarification on what he
feels is an adequate charter. The proponent was happy to take
on board the change of name suggested in the first RFD though.

- ------------------------------------------------------------------------

PROPOSED CHARTER
