UKVoting Statement - Assistant Deputy Co-Ordinator

It is with great regret that I have to announce that Steve Beckwith is 
withdrawing from UKVoting and retiring as the Assistant Deputy 
Co-Ordinator.

Steve was the longest serving active member of UKVoting and a previous 
holder of the position of Co-Ordinator, UKVoting. And also due to this he 
was probably one of the most experienced and wise members of UKVoting (now 
that will embarrass him).

I wish to thank Steve from a personal point of view and from a UKVoting 
point of view for all his loyal service to UKVoting and the uk.* usenet 
community over the last few years, and I wish him the best for the future.

And also I would like to thank Steve on behalf of the uk.* hierarchy 
community for his services, and I hope he continues to contribute to the 
development of this hierarchy when he has time.

Therefore with Steve vacating the position of Assistant Deputy 
Co-Ordinator I have great pleasure in announcing that Malcolm Mladenovic 
has accepted the responsibility of this position.
