After discussion between the Committee & UKVoting, it has been decided
that the ongoing uk.politics.censorship vote will be declared NULL AND
VOID following a request from the proponent to withdraw the CFV.

The proponent, Andy Mabbett <amabbett@bham-assist.demon.co.uk>, gave these
reasons for withdrawing this CFV:

"It is clear that the issue of restricting crypto sig sizes arouses more
and stronger feeling than had been apparent during the RFD period; in
order that that this does not result in the HTML-prohibition baby being
thrown out with the crypto bath-water I have therefore submitted to
control a further RFD to allow this issue to be debated more fully. Once
there seems to be a consensus emerging, I will call a vote including
that (or call for a fast-track if the committee permits)."

This decision has been taken purely on the merits of this individual
case; any potential future similar decisions that we may make will
likewise be taken purely on their individual merits. Accordingly, this
decision must not in any way be taken to be 'setting a precedent' for
action on further withdrawal of any CFV which is in progress.
