1 was rejected as the would be nominator put the names of two

working correctly following the DNS issues on the first day

Votetaker's Comments

Barry:-

I think it's safe to say that this is the first time that I can recall
there being insufficient candidates for the OPEN class to not need an
Election.

The last record I can find of there being less candidates is the 2000
Committee Elections, where Peter Corlett was elected unopposed as a New
Class candidate.

After the initial DNS-related teething troubles, the rest of the process
has gone fairly smoothly, apart from the person listed above who didn't
read the nomination instructions.

Alex:-

Barry, as ever, ran a faultless operation making my job as
secondary votetaker extremely easy. Needless to say I also think
that the shortage of nominations is notable.
