Votetakers Notes:

This was a simple vote, but even so some people failed to use a valid
Email Address so their vote could not be acknowledged and then counted.

This vote was conducted by a neutral third party member of UKVoting.
UKVoting is a group of independent votetakers who count votes on CFVs in
the uk hierarchy. The rules under which this vote is taken are posted
regularly to uk.net.news.announce or can be found at the following URL:

The UKVoting web pages can be found at http://www.cirra.com/ukvoting/

There is a five day discussion period after these results are posted to
uk.net.news.announce.

Summary:
uk.media.tv.buffy-v-slayer Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Rationale:
Buffy the Vampire Slayer is popular both in the USA and,
increasingly, in the UK. The alt.tv.buffy-v-slayer group is
becoming more and more packed with postings including "spoiler
space" to avoid revealing US plot lines to those who have not
yet seen a particular show (i.e. those in the UK) and so a
forum for discussion of episodes that have already screened in
the UK would save worrying over whether the next posting viewed
is going to ruin an entire years worth of plot development.

Charter:
"In every generation there is a chosen one. She alone will
stand against the vampires, the demons and the forces of
darkness. She is the Slayer."
Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a fantasy/horror series from
the USA that follows the adventures of Buffy Summers,
a high school girl who has found herself in the role of
slayer of vampires.

This newsgroup is for the discussion of the television series
Buffy the Vampire Slayer but being UK based, discussion of
episodes not yet screened in the UK is discouraged but not
banned provided the nature of the posted content is indicated
in the subject header.

Relevant advertising (i.e. advertisements not cross-posted to
numerous unrelated groups) is acceptable so long as these
postings are kept short (under 10 lines). The subject line
should include "AD" or "ADVERT" to indicate this content.

All posts must be in plain text with the exception of
PGP signatures. HTML and other types of formatted text are not
permitted. No binaries are permitted but references to relevant
downloadable resources are acceptable.

The newsgroup will not be moderated.
